


Berlin is a group of display fonts inspired by the classic geometric typefaces from early last century. It features (so far) four versions, each one in three weights: regular, bold & X-bold. It is a work in progress and more versions will be added gradually. For now, allow, please, me to introduce you to the first four members of the family.

50 of these booklets were made (some with slightly different variations) and given in a typography workshop early 2013. The project had no greater pretension than to just share a song that happens to be my personal favourite from the time was in a band. It is an unusual approach to love: It talks about being frightened by the feeling of losing control, of not knowing exactly what’s happening inside

Prototype to a book I plan to publish (luckily) before I am 80! It will compile some lessons learned from the books I have read, people I met, work I have done, mistakes I have made and everything in between. The book will cover six subjects, each on a loose booklet. The booklets are packed into a cardboard jacket with a circular hole that allows the book to have six (slightly) different front covers.

Love is what makes us bigger. Although the project as presented mainly shows a particular kind of affection, I wanted to celebrate all kinds of Love. It was all done within 48 hours, what resulted in a very raw yet gracious set of elements. The title (Collide) refers to that very moment when we are the conqueror and the conquered at the same time. That special moment when you have no other choice but giving in to the feelings.
