I am a visual artist who works in graphic design, illustration, typography, branding, painting, sculpture, craft, installation and photography.

I officially started out my studio early 2013. However, I was already working on a few self-initiated projects a couple of years back, while still self-teaching the basics and fundamentals of graphic work.

My work is fairly influenced by fine arts, but music and architecture are my greatest sources of inspiration. Both have rhythm and structure, and both can tell a story while at the same time leave something to your imagination.

In addition to those, my sphere of interests includes movies, photography, advertising, computing and also anthropology, history, literature, psychology and sociology.

I have always challenged myself to be consistent yet not repetitive, reason why my body of work is so varied.

I believe I could try to keep a particular style or technique and use it in all my projects, as to preserve a particular aesthetics. However, I would probably feel as though I was always doing the same work over and over and it would eventually become boring and irrelevant to me.

I also like to think of my work as storytelling and for me the story speaks louder than the language. I think the results first and then of the process to get there.

Of course! Whether personal or commissioned, I like to envision my projects as final products. Having that in mind helps me to keep the focus. Otherwise, I would keep on tinkering my work to the point of never knowing when it is already finished .

Definitely! I am hyper by nature and I need to be always engaged in some activity; it is not always related to my graphic projects, but eventually all works as fuel to it.

Professionally, it was starting over already on my thirties in a field in which everybody is starting as teenagers.

‘Don’t settle: life is not short, but it happens pretty fast!’ That was what my mom told me when I said I was uncertain about leaving it all to try a new start in London, a few years ago.

I have a rather good collection of design related books and magazines, plus uncountable online bookmarks that I check on a regular basis.

When I lived in London (2007-10), I used to go to museums, galleries, street markets. This has become a good habit I keep whenever I am visiting a new city.

Other than that, In the Fine Arts field I just can’t get enough of Amedeo Midigliani and Richard Long; amonsgt the graphic designers, I equally love the works by Stefan Sagmeister and by Mario Lombardo; in music I enjoy Mozart, post-grunge and everything inbetween.
